Last updated: September 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled in connection with Vehicle Verity, operated by Hapad Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, Greater London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact: support@vehicleverity.com.

Information you provide

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your email, such as your name, email address, article URL, vehicle context, correction details or rights request. We use it to respond, investigate an editorial issue, handle a rights request or manage a business enquiry.

Information created by a website visit

Web hosting, security and delivery infrastructure may process technical request data such as an IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser or device information, referrer and error details. This data may appear in server or security logs and is used to deliver, protect and troubleshoot the site. The current source code does not add analytics or a marketing profile.

The site currently references stylesheet-hosted web fonts from Google Fonts. This can cause a browser request to a Google service and may transmit request metadata such as IP address and user agent.

Cookies and similar technologies

The current site code does not set non-essential cookies, use local storage or session storage, run analytics tags, load advertising tags or run affiliate tracking. See the separate Cookie Policy for the current position. Hosting or security providers may use infrastructure mechanisms outside the page code; those providers and retention details require confirmation before launch.

Why information may be processed

Depending on the context, information may be processed to respond to a request, maintain site security and availability, investigate errors, meet a legal obligation, or pursue a legitimate operational interest. The appropriate lawful basis, retention period and controller/processor arrangements should be confirmed for the final service configuration.

Service providers and international processing

The site does not currently use an external analytics, advertising or affiliate service. Hosting, delivery, security and email providers may process information as needed to operate the website and respond to messages. Their identity, locations, transfer safeguards and processor terms will be reflected here when those services are introduced or changed.

Retention and security

We aim to keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute handling or security records. Retention periods depend on the type of request and the service involved. Reasonable access controls and secure transmission should be used, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Children

Vehicle Verity is not directed at children and does not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent, and to complain to a relevant data-protection regulator. UK and EEA rights can have conditions and exceptions. Contact support@vehicleverity.com first so Hapad Ltd can assess the request and verify identity where necessary.

Complaints and updates

Questions or complaints can be sent to support@vehicleverity.com. You may also contact the supervisory authority applicable to you, including the UK Information Commissioner's Office where appropriate. This policy will be updated when the website, hosting, analytics, advertising, affiliate or consent architecture changes.
